Job Summary

The Part-Time Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects assigned by the Construction management team, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and clients effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.


  • Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.


  • Collaborate with the Construction team to review documentation, share information with internal and external stakeholders, and provide support as needed.


  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.


  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.


  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when required.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential challenges before they escalate.

  • Humility and eagerness to learn.

  • Familiarity with local building codes, permits, and safety regulations is a plus.


Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred (but not required).

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of project management experience in construction.

  • Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on client satisfaction preferred.
